Can’t even begin to express how proud I am of all the students from Brampton BJJ that competed in this year’s Ontario open. While we saw dominating performances from our students, earning gold medals in several divisions, what was most impressive was everyone’s individual successes. Over the past six months; one of these people lost over 50lbs; one went from being dominated in her division, to doing the dominating; one person went from being afraid to roll in training, to fighting several gruelling matches tooth and nail to the gold; several competed for their first time; one continues to just be an utter unstoppable force. I could go on for ever with this. But the point is, every one of them continue to improve in their own little ways every day, and that what this is all about. Great weekend Brampton Brazilian Jiu Jitsu!
This March Break we will be hosting a one day Brazilian Jiu Jitsu camp. The day will include Brazilian Jiu Jitsu competition training, drilling, games, strength and conditioning, and a visit from a Peel Region Police Officer. Contact us to book your spot.
This will mark Brampton BJJ's first year attending the IBJJF Kids Pan Ams in Long Beach California. We had 6 athletes who trained their butts off and went up against the best in the world. We couldn't be more proud of how they all performed on the big stage and we can't wait to return next year, bigger and stronger than ever.
On Sunday August 11th, 2019, multiple time IBJJF medalist, Professor Erin Herle, will be doing a special two hour seminar at Brampton BJJ. In addition to Professor Erin’s impressive competition resume, she is also well known for her charity foundation, Submit the Stigma, which was founded to raise mental health awareness.
Please contact us to reserve your spot.

Though competition is never mandatory, the students (and instructors) at Brampton BJJ continually use tournaments to test their ability and challenge themselves. We are very proud to announce that our students placed second for best overall team in both the Ontario Open and the BJJ Kids Festival. Great work, everyone!
Good work to all the ladies who attended our Women’s self defence seminar! We host free women’s self defence seminars twice a year. Message us for details on future events.
